Portrait Retouching - 4b

Often a tricky subject to get right. My approach is the ‘less is more’ method. By this, I mean do the minimum to get the maximum benefit.

I normally use Adobe’s LightRoom and PhotoShop to achieve what I want. Don’t worry, you don’t have to be an expert - I’m not!

Here is the (slightly confusing!) 5th of six video shorts (about 5 mins each, or less) showing a typical processing workflow I use to go from straight out of camera to a ‘you but on a good day’ look.

In this fifth part I’ll look at the final blemish fixing: skin texture, messy hair and double catchlights in the eyes using, yeah, you guessed it: PhotoShop…
